This once in a lifetime End of The World adventure offers all the best from Chile and Argentina. These amazing countries have it all – from big cities to national parks, mythical islands, glaciers and much more. Expect to learn about the history and culture of Chile and Argentina, look forward to great food and friendly people and be excited about being blown away by the spectacular sceneries and views. The adventure starts in Santiago de Chile, where you will get to experience the same views and sceneries that Charles Darwin saw during his visit to Chile in 1834. With luck you might get to see wildcats, skunks, eagles, chinchillas and other local wildlife here. You will travel to Puerto Mott. This city is the capital of the 10th region and the main gateway to the Lake District and Patagonia.
This tour then takes you on an amazing journey South, through the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park, and to Punta Arenas where you embark a cruise ship. The excursion will take you through the Strait of Magellan, the Beagle Channel and past Cape Horn “the end of the world” where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean meet. and leading you back North through Ushuaia, the world´s most southern city where you will visit the End of the World Museum. Concluding this once in a life time journey you arrive in the capital of Argentina – the cultural Buenos Aires, famously known for its architecture and night life .

+DAY 1: Welcome to Santiago

You will be greeted at the Santiago airport and transferred to your hotel. Afterward you will get to know the major highlights of the Chilean capital. The tour includes visits to the city’s civic center and a stop at the traditional handcraft market; Pueblito Los Dominicos. Overnight in Santiago.

+DAY 2: In Darwin's Footsteps

On day two you will enjoy one of the most attractive day excursions from Santiago, combining nature and culture. In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and travel north towards La Campana National Park. Here you reach one of the last remaining habitats of the Chilean palm tree, a species in danger of extinction. Continuing on you arrive at Palmar the Ocoa, a northern edge section of the park where the main attraction is the “Kan Kan” or palm tree forest. Here you hike an easy trail along the Rabuco stream where you can observe the full magnificence of these palm trees measuring up to 38 m / 98 ft. and are thousands of years old. The day tour then continues with a visit to Valparaíso, the oldest and most important port city of Chile. You visit the old town and the harbor before returning to the hotel.

+DAY 3: Traveling South

Today you travel to the Santiago Airport for your flight to Puerto Montt. After arrival you visit the most important sights of Puerto Montt. The first site you visit will be the fish and crafts market known as Angelmó. The tour then continues along the coast as you arrive to the town square and eventually to the neighboring city of Puerto Varas, where you spend the night.

+DAY 4: Mythical Island & Rare Creatures

Today you embark on a ferry to the mythical island of Chiloe, the second largest island in Chile and South America. On this island Darwin discovered the unique Fox of Chiloe and the famous Darwin Frog endemic to the Chilean Patagonia region. This beautiful archipelago is situated south of Puerto Montt and is linked to the mainland by ferries which cross the Chacao channel. Chiloe islanders are known to honor the sea and have several fascinating legends and myths about the ocean and its creatures. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

+DAY 5: Learning the History

After being picked up at the hotel you will fly to Punta Arenas. Depending on the time of arrival you will visit either the Nao Victoria Museum or Fort Bulnes. The Nao Victoria Museum boasts a replica of the ship used by Hernando de Magallanes to explore this very region centuries ago. Fort Bulnes is located at about an hour drive from Punta Arenas and is the first Chilean outpost of the Magellan Region. Overnight in Punta Arenas.

+DAY 6: BBQ At The Ranch

Upon arrival at the Punta Arenas airport transfer will take you to the lovely city of Puerto Natales. During the drive you will start to feel the immenseness of this rugged land, tucked far away in Chilean Patagonia. Just North of Puerto Natales, located on the Bay of Last Hope, you visit the Estancia Puerto Consuelo. This ranch was founded in 1892 by Captain Eberhard and it was from this location that the colonization of the Última Esperanza province in the Magallanes Region started. There you will tour the grounds and be able to witness farm life first hand. You will enjoy a delicious ‘asado al palo’ (typical lamb barbeque) at the “Quincho Fiordo Eberhard”. After this great excursion, you go back to Puerto Natales.

+DAY 7: Sailing In A Fairtale

After an early breakfast you will be taken to the pier to board a small ship and navigate the Última Esperanza Bay. You will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the mountains, native forests and the Balmaceda Glacier. As the boat approaches Monte Balmaceda you may possibly spot seals, cormorants and condors. Once you arrive you will have time to go on a short hike to the imposing Río Serrano Glacier and its lagoon. After lunch the trip continues for approximately 1 hour upstream the Río Serrano aboard a modern and safe zodiac boat. You will approach the Torres del Paine National Park where you will enjoy the spectacular views of the Southern Ice Field and the Paine Mountain Range. You will then disembark the zodiac boat for a short walk past the Victoria Waterfalls and embark on a second zodiac to the entrance of Torres del Paine.

+DAY 8: The World's 8th Wonder

You will have the entire day to explore the imposing Torres del Paine National Park. You will visit the Pehoe, Nordenskjold and Sarmiento lakes and also the Salto Grande Waterfalls, all offering beautiful views of the Paine Mountain Range and Torres del Paine.

+DAY 9: Cocktails & Navigation

After breakfast you will make your way back to Punta Arenas where mid to late afternoon, you will reach the harbor to embark on your navigation adventure to the Cape Horn. You will be welcomed
aboard the ship with a cocktail and reception hosted by the Captain.

+DAY 10: Scouting For Seals & Penguins

The ship continues the navigation through Almirantazgo sound arriving near Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay located in the Darwin mountain range. Here you will enjoy a walk to a beaver dam hidden in the midst of a marvelous Magallanes forest. The tour will then continue back to the beach to observe colonies of elephant seals. Afterwards you will board the zodiac boats and arrive to Tucker Islet. Here you will be able to view colonies of Magellan Penguins and Cormorant birds. Please note the Islet’s penguins migrate in April; as replacement you can visit Brookes Bay for a short walk to see an impressive glacier.

+DAY 11: Majestic Glaciers

Today you will navigate through the main part of Beagle channel and reach Pia Bay where you disembark. After a short hike you arrive at a breathtaking lookout point of the Pia glacier that stems from the tip of the mountains all the way to the sea. After this unforgettable experience, you continue sailing along the northwest arm of Beagle Channel through the majestic Glacier Alley.

+DAY 12: The End of The World

You navigate through the Beagle and Murria channels to reach Cape Horn National Park (weather permitting). The park is located on Hornos Island; a high
rocky promontory where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean meet. This mythical place is known as the “end of the world” and a chance to visit is considered privileged. In the afternoon you will go ashore and visit the historic Wulaia Bay. This site was once part of the region’s largest aboriginal settlements. You then continue the tour and explore the Magellan forest that is full of native flora and fauna. The path will eventually lead you to a spectacular lookout point.

+DAY 13: Land of Fire

You arrive at Ushuaia; Argentina’s most important city in Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city of the world. Here the Martial mountain range is extremely prominent and caused the city to be built on different levels facing the bay. Today’s tour will show you the magic of the town and will take you to the historical center and harbor. The excursion will conclude by visiting the End of the World Museum.

+DAY 14: Buenos Aires
Your transfer will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport of Ushuaia where you fly to the spectacular city of Buenos Aires.

+DAY 15: Buenos Aires City Tour

Today’s agenda features a visit to the most famous and interesting districts of Buenos Aires, discovering the historic and present day charms of the iconic city.
